Current project (as of 3/17/12): just finished shooting the short film Cicero in Winter directed by Richard Cohen and starring Daniel J Travanti of Hill Street Blues fame. Next up, she’s writing a ten minute play to be considered for a project by Route 66.

What movie would you remake so you could play the lead? No remake; I just want to play Janis Joplin.
Favorite indulgence: Pedicures.
Most bad-ass moment ever: Having the first play I ever wrote win an After Dark Award for Outstanding New Work alongside Sarah Ruhl and Tracy Letts.
Favorite book: East of Eden.
Favorite vice? Wine.
What was the scariest thing you’ve ever done: Share my writing for the first time.
What is one thing you simply could not live without? Air conditioning.
Let’s name names: Who was your imaginary friend’s name as a child? Podrul. I talked to him mostly while I sat on the toilet. I was a weird kid.
Favorite color: Purple.
What was your earliest acting inspiration? My high school’s production of West Side Story. It made me want to become an actor. No joke, those kids were talented.
